As fraudsters grow in sophistication and experience, they often aren’t acting alone. Syndicated crime rings are big business around the world. In the fraud economy, different fraudsters specialize in different aspects of the attack, from gathering data and creating profiles of targeted victims, to socially engineering call center agents, to creating tools like robotic dialers.
